AnyMind Group’s AnyChat now supports customer engagement on Meta’s WhatsApp

Users can now seamlessly manage and track customer engagement through AnyChat across WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram Direct Message, and LINE to drive digital commerce growth

AnyMind Group, a BPaaS company for marketing, e-commerce and digital transformation, has today announced that its conversational commerce platform, AnyChat, is now connected with WhatsApp, a chat application and platform developed by Meta, enabling AnyChat users to send and receive messages to their customers through WhatsApp.

With this update, businesses, online merchants, and customer support teams can engage with customers in any market that WhatsApp is available in. WhatsApp has an extensive global reach and serves as a vital communication channel, boasting over 2 billion active users worldwide, making it especially dominant in markets across North America, Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia.

The WhatsApp integration on AnyChat includes functionalities such as:

  • Real-time messaging for AnyChat users with their customers, including using AnyChat to disseminate product information and promotional offers, and assign customers to specific customer support agents;
  • Built-in customer relationship management (CRM) functionality including the ability to tag and group customers, reference customer data fields and activities, and also track their orders (for Shopify-based stores);
  • Seamlessly direct ad leads to WhatsApp, ensuring campaigns run seamlessly, even during busy periods;
  • Use automation for initial lead sorting, with the flexibility for human agents to step in as required;
  • Transform interactions into opportunities by engaging in personalized conversations that build deeper customer relationships and loyalty, driving both immediate and long-term conversions.

Ryuji Takemoto, Managing Director of Product Development, AnyMind Group, said: “With the WhatsApp integration, we can bring AnyChat to even more enterprises across the world, adding on to what is already a strong arsenal of connected chat applications. As we continue to make every business borderless, we’re breaking down borders even between customer service teams and the wider organization.”

Together with other connected platforms such as LINE, Instagram and Messenger, businesses, online merchants, and customer support teams can now manage and track online customer interactions across multiple chat platforms through a single interface, providing more efficient and streamlined customer engagement and support.

In addition, AnyChat users can tap on built-in CRM functionality that is connected to messaging apps and their e-commerce storefronts through Shopify, live commerce capabilities for Instagram, and the ability to build custom chat flows and auto-responses to frequently asked questions.
