AnyMind Group, a technology company for the business supply chain, has today announced a strategic partnership with one of the largest Korea-based creator management and multi-channel network (MCN) companies, Treasure Hunter, which will see a pooling together of AnyMind Group’s proprietary technology and Treasure Hunter’s resources. AnyMind Group had expanded operations to South Korea in November 2023.
Based out of Seoul, Korea, with a presence in Hong Kong and Mainland China, Treasure Hunter is one of the largest MCNs in Korea and is creating a second-generation business model that breaks away from the agent-centric, first-generation MCN model by venturing into the global market through creator management solutions (MaaS), multi-labels and SaaS-based creator business solutions. The company provides creators with monetization services on platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Naver TV, content and growth consulting supported by its SaaS-based analytics system, branded content production and collaborations, integrated channel management for brands, live commerce, private label and merchandising of creator products.
On the other hand, AnyMind Group provides creators across the Asia Pacific region with proprietary technology such as AnyCreator, a web and mobile app-based platform that enables creators to track social media analytics and discover brand collaborations. On the other hand, marketers can discover and collaborate with these creators through the company’s influencer marketing platform, AnyTag. The company also runs a program called “AnyMind D2C for Influencers,” which enables creators to create, launch and manage their own brand and merchandise with the help of its proprietary platforms including AnyX for multi-channel e-commerce analytics and management, AnyLogi for logistics management, AnyChat for customer engagement, and AnyFactory for product manufacturing.
The partnership will provide creators and marketers globally with access to technology, services, and influencer networks from both companies, and provides AnyMind Group with an immediate pool of creators and influencers in South Korea for marketers globally to tap on.
On the partnership, Kosuke Sogo, CEO and co-founder of AnyMind Group said: “As we continue to build our presence in Korea, we’re looking to form key strategic partnerships with leading players in the market. Song and Treasure Hunter’s wealth of experience, expertise, vision and insight into the global market puts us immediately at the forefront of the creator economy in South Korea. We look forward to collaborating on planning and networking for global marketing of local brands, co-developing solutions to grow YouTube shorts, and various other strategic collaborations to capitalize on our synergies.”
Jae Ryong Song, CEO of Treasure Hunter, said: “Treasure Hunter is building a business model that connects global commercial and commerce through global OTT-based partnership channels such as YouTube, TikTok, and Twitch, as well as our own IP channels to build and operate multi-labels, and SaaS solutions to connect channels and subscribers and channels and brands. Like global airline networks such as SkyTeam and Star Alliance, our strategic and exclusive collaboration with AnyMind Group will lay the foundation for faster growth in Asia such as Japan and Singapore.”
AnyMind Group first ventured into the creator economy on March 2019 with the acquisition of Thailand-based Moindy. In December 2019, AnyMind Group formed a strategic partnership with Japan-based GROVE, which saw GROVE’s creator pool join AnyMind Group’s influencer network. GROVE was later acquired by AnyMind Group in January 2020. In March 2021, AnyMind Group formed a strategic partnership with Japan-based UUUM, to create the largest influencer network in Japan. The partnership with UUUM subsequently saw the launch of direct-to-consumer creator brands such as outdoor brand ARAKA and craft beer brand SAKASUKI.
