AnyMind Group [TSE:5027], a technology company for the business supply chain, has today announced that it has entered South Korea, with an office in Seoul, to initially help businesses in South Korea to expand into international markets whilst the company develops its domestic networks in South Korea.
The company will initiate a full roll out of its technology for businesses and agencies, publishers and creators, which includes e-commerce management platform AnyX, influencer marketing platform AnyTag, digital marketing platform AnyDigital and mobile marketing platform POKKT, international shipping platform AnyLogi, conversational commerce platform AnyChat, publisher growth platform AnyManager, and creator growth platform and mobile app AnyCreator.
The company will also establish a local team to accelerate the acquisition and building up of its domestic networks, from publishers and creators to e-commerce platforms and logistics networks. At launch, businesses in South Korea can already tap into the company’s local networks across the APAC region through its various platforms.
In particular, the company’s flagship platform, AnyX, which forms a central hub for businesses, is already connected to e-commerce marketplaces and platforms such as Amazon, Shopify, TikTok Shop, Shopee, Lazada, Rakuten, and more for store analytics and operations, advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads and TikTok Ads, and its own proprietary platforms for international shipping and conversational commerce. Users can easily analyze and manage across e-commerce platforms and operations through a single interface, providing greater scalability and efficiency for digital commerce, and enabling easier cross-border expansion for South Korea-based businesses.
South Korean businesses looking at cross-border expansion through e-commerce can also immediately tap on the company’s influencer marketing platform, AnyTag, which has native integrations with e-commerce platforms such as Shopee and Lazada to attribute influencer marketing spend to sales generated on e-commerce. Businesses can discover influencers, and activate, manage, track and attribute influencer marketing campaigns at any stage of the marketing funnel through a single platform. The platform already has over 14,000 Korea-based influencers and influencer data points available for businesses to run their domestic or inbound influencer marketing campaigns.
The company had also recently completed the acquisition of Indonesian e-commerce enabler, Digital Distribusi Indonesia. While the acquisition provides the company with immediate expertise and services for e-commerce in Indonesia bolstered by technology from AnyMind, the company has also announced its intention to scale this business model into other markets in APAC.
The above, combined, provides small to large enterprises with the immediate ability to embark on cross-border expansion, while the company builds up domestic networks and integrations to serve the domestic South Korean market.
On the company’s entry into South Korea, Kosuke Sogo, CEO and co-founder of AnyMind Group, said: “The domestic and cross-border digital commerce market in South Korea continues to expand and evolve, and we see the market as one which is mature but also hungry for innovation and disruption. While we continue developing integrations and partnerships with local players, the time has come for us to start local operations to accelerate our entry into the market.”
AnyMind Group was founded in Singapore in 2016 in the marketing space, and over the years expanded its offerings to include technology for e-commerce, logistics and conversational commerce, along with publisher and creator monetization, forming key solutions across the business supply chain. In 2019, the company moved its headquarters to Tokyo, Japan, and in 2023, the company made its public debut on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth market. This is the company’s 14th market and 21st office globally.
