According to the App Annie report (2023), Thailand is ranked 18th globally for the highest number of app downloads in 2023, with a total of 2.2 billion downloads. Notably, gaming applications have the highest download figures compared to other types of apps.
Besides, he highlighted the importance of enhancing user engagement with applications to drive advertising revenue. He cited examples such as banner ads that appear during gameplay and reward-based video ads, which are effective ways for mobile game developers to generate revenue. By optimizing user engagement through appealing content, relevant notifications, or special promotions, developers can retain up to 25% of their users—an essential factor for maximizing ad revenue.
