AnyMind Group supports the development of metaverse advertising functionality for ANA NEO’s virtual travel platform app, ANA GranWhale

Brands can now reach audiences based on their interests in ANA GranWhale

AnyMind Group, a technology company for the business supply chain, has today announced that it has helped ANA NEO, a subsidiary of ANA Holdings (ANA), with the development of metaverse advertising functionality on its virtual travel platform app, ANA GranWhale.

ANA GranWhale is a platform that allows users to enjoy travel by replicating various destinations in the virtual realm. It comprises services such as V-TRIP (virtual travel space) and Sky Mall (virtual shopping service). By collecting GranChips in ANA GranWhale, users can exchange them for ANA miles, which can be used for physical travel.

In conjunction with the launch of ANA GranWhale, ANA tapped on AnyMind Group’s capabilities in MarTech to define requirements and develop functionality for advertising in the metaverse, such as the utilization of 3D models to enhance visual appeal. Marketers can reach audiences in ANA GranWhale through information registered during sign-up, and measure advertising effectiveness through viewability and attention metrics for video viewing time, similar to web advertising.

Marketers can now tap on the following advertising forms in ANA GranWhale:

  • Virtual out-of-home signage: 2D still images or videos on various surfaces in ANA GranWhale, such as walls, floors, and in mid-air within a virtual space, along with dynamic creative optimization based on user demographics.
  • Avatar advertising: Customization of avatars to match brands, including avatar clothing and conversations, along with the modification and creation of official brand avatars that appear in virtual spaces.
  • Virtual showrooms: Creation of unique showrooms that convey brand stories and products/services through experiential events and content.
