AnyMind turns five
April was a pretty special month for us, as we celebrated AnyMind turning five! We’ve come pretty far in just a short period of time, as Kosuke Sogo, CEO and co-founder of AnyMind Group shared in his blog post this month.

We also launched a couple of influencer brands
Through our AnyMind D2C for Influencers program, we launched two brands in Japan: unclip which focuses on apparel, and GAB ME which focuses on cosmetics. GAB ME is also the second brand we’ve launched in conjunction with Japanese influencer, Tanakaga.

Influencers can now use sustainable materials for their D2C products
We’ve collaborated with TBM and Bioworks to enable influencers to create products that use sustainable materials! Using LIMEX, a material made predominantly from limestone which can act as an alternative to plastic, and PlaX, a plant-derived material made from corn and sugar cane, items such as daily necessities, face mask cases, towels and clothing can be created.

Influencers can use sustainable materials to create their own products

Launch of self-serve design function on AnyFactory
That’s not all on the D2C front! We also launched our self-service product design function on AnyFactory, our cloud manufacturing platform. With a turnaround in as little as five days, anyone can easily design and order their own products through AnyFactory now.

We launched a tech blog
We’re lifting the hood on our platforms and product development team. Apart from an interview with Ryuji Takemoto, Managing Director of Product Development, we’ve also published some insights into challenges faced when building out our digital-out-of-home (also known as DOOH) product.
