In an exciting display of teamwork, camaraderie, and fierce competition, our Philippines team held its inaugural AnyMind Sports Fest, which took place at the Pretty Huge facility in BGC, Maila. With the energy levels soaring and spirits at an all-time high, this event was nothing short of epic!
The day went as usual for our office in the Philippines, besides the fact that they had a special visitor, hailing all the way from Japan — Kosuke Sogo, the CEO and co-founder of AnyMind Group. The team gathered around for their weekly reporting. After intense applause from the team, Sogo delivered a speech to hype up the team and commence our Sports Day.
Battle on the Court
With a cheerful roar, players geared up for basketball, volleyball, and dodgeball. Our Filipino teams brought their A-game, showcasing impressive skills, coordination, and a passion to win.
Volleyball Intensity
Our sports fest kicked off with an intense Volleyball match between two teams in a thrilling game of three. The teams showcased their agility, precision, and teamwork, spiking and blocking their way to victory.
The atmosphere was charged with excitement as everyone cheered for their teams. The sound of serves, digs, and spikes echoed through the Pretty Huge facility, adding to the overall energy of the event.
The Basketball Championship Showdown
However, the highlight of the event was during the most-anticipated basketball match between AnyMind Group’s CEO, Sogo, and the Country Manager in the Philippines, Siwat. The two AnyMind leaders led their teams into an electrifying showdown for the basketball championship.
The court was ablaze with talent, strategy, and sheer determination as both teams pushed themselves to the limit.
It was a good game, indeed. But at the end of the day, there could only be one winner. Cheers and applause erupted as Siwat’s team emerged victorious.
Dodgeball and the Survival of the Fittest
The last leg of the sports fest was a fun game of dodgeball. The Philippine office was divided into teams of four, where each member had to participate and showcase their athletic prowess. The court transformed the AnyMind employees into swift and slick players, displaying their quick reflexes, nimble dodges, and precise throws. Heaps of orange balls soared through the air, as players strategized, ran, ducked, and targeted each other until the last person was left standing.
Celebrating Excellence with MVP Awards
The festivities didn’t end at the final buzzer, as our Philippines team also took this opportunity to celebrate excellence through their local MVP Awards. These awards weren’t just about recognizing the most valuable players in the games, but also those who had shone the brightest throughout the month of August.
