AnyMind Group acquires Japanese vertical video production company, MISM

The company strengthens its social commerce infrastructure capabilities with vertical video creative production

AnyMind Group [TSE:5027], a BPaaS company for marketing, e-commerce and digital transformation, has today announced the full acquisition of MISM Inc (hereinafter MISM), a creative production studio specializing in vertical, short-form video content, marking its third acquisition in 2026.

MISM works with over 2,000 models and creators and produces over 20,000 videos annually. These videos are provided to customers through BUZZRENTAL, a stock library of over 60,000 vertically-formatted videos, and BUZZORDER, a custom-made vertical video production service. MISM also provides customers with social media account management and influencer marketing-based services.

MISM leverages advertising and purchase data, a diverse creator and model network, and a rapid mass-production structure to plan and produce vertical videos designed with purchase intent in mind, with messaging and creative structures optimized for conversion.

Amidst a backdrop of information exposure and purchase behavior increasingly driven by social media and video platforms, AnyMind Group has accelerated its business model expansion with a focuse on social media marketing and social commerce. In this environment, the importance of two systems has grown significantly as key elements supporting brand growth: a creative production system capable of continuously generating high-quality content, and a system for nurturing, managing, and continuously utilizing creators and livestreamers.

In October 2025, AnyMind Group acquired NADESHIKO Beauty, a beauty industry-focused, Japan-based creator studio that produces vertical short-form videos such as product reviews. In January 2026, the company further strengthened its online-to-offline capabilities through the acquisition of Sun Smile, which distributes and produces brands in the cosmetics and beauty sector, connecting demand generated online with offline distribution. The company also completed the acquisition of Bcode in January 2026. Bcode manages and supports live streamers in Japan.

The company already supports enterprises with tools and solutions for marketing, e-commerce, customer support, distribution, and data & AI utilization, along with creators and publishers for monetization and expansion.

With the acquisition of MISM, the company is now able to establish an end-to-end social commerce infrastructure to support the full lifecycle from content creation and exposure on social media, to online and offline sales channels.

Chiori Habe, CEO of MISM, said: “Since its founding, MISM has focused on high-quality creative production centered around vertical videos and social media marketing. We have dedicated ourselves to solving our clients’ challenges and creating new value through video. By joining AnyMind Group, we are confident that combining MISM’s creative expertise as a professional video production team with AnyMind Group’s platforms, global network, and extensive knowledge in e-commerce and influencer marketing will enable us to seamlessly connect information exposure to purchasing actions through video, thereby supporting even more brands. We remain committed to approaching creativity with sincerity and building a valuable future.”

Kosuke Sogo, CEO of AnyMind Group, said: “As information touchpoints originating from social media and video platforms increasingly connect seamlessly from viewing to purchase, and further into e-commerce and offline retail, the nature of support required by enterprises continues to evolve. In social commerce, the ability to continuously produce high-quality content and to execute in collaboration with creators and livestreamers has become a critical determinant of brand growth. With the addition of MISM, we will strengthen our vertical video creative production capabilities and further advance our online-to-offline support whilst enhancing operations through the use of AI.”
