AnyMind Group, a BPaaS company for marketing, e-commerce and digital transformation, has today announced the opening of an office and commencement of operations in Hangzhou, China, which will house sales, operations and technology teams. The new office adds to the company’s existing presence in Shenzhen and Shanghai.
The Hangzhou office and team will spearhead the company’s efforts to boost inbound and outbound cross-border commerce in Mainland China, including the use of platforms such as AnyX for e-commerce management, AnyLogi for international shipping, AnyChat for customer engagement and conversational commerce. Enterprises and online merchants can also tap on platforms such as AnyTag for influencer marketing and AnyDigital for web and app advertising across Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
In addition, web and app publishers in Mainland China can also tap on AnyManager, an all-in-one platform that helps publishers with monetization and user growth.
The Hangzhou office will also house the company’s fifth engineering hub, following engineering hubs established in Tokyo, Bangkok, Bangalore and Ho Chi Minh City. The Hangzhou engineering hub will include engineers for the AnyMind AI Lab, a research & development team specializing in artificial intelligence and large-language model technologies, including the implementation and enhancement of AI-related technologies such as AI-powered live commerce.
AnyMind Group’s expansion in Mainland China continues to be led by Ben Chien, Managing Director of Greater China, AnyMind Group. On the launch of the Hangzhou office, Chien said: “We are very excited about setting up a new office in Hangzhou. As one of the leaders in the global e-commerce and marketing industry, this step will further enhance our competitiveness in the Chinese market. We look forward to bringing more innovative import and export cross-border technology solutions to the Chinese market.”
Chien joined AnyMind Group in 2018 through the acquisition of Hong Kong-based Acqua Media, and has been leading the company’s Greater China business for the past six years.
Kosuke Sogo, CEO and co-founder of AnyMind Group, said: “The Chinese digital commerce industry remains the most advanced in the world, and Hangzhou is the key hub for modern innovation in the commerce space. We now have the opportunity to not only provide businesses with access from and into this market, but also learn from some of the best companies when it comes to digital commerce.”
The Hangzhou office will be the company’s 24th office across 15 markets in Southeast Asia, East Asia, India and the Middle East.
