D2C outdoor brand ARAKA collaborates with Columbia PFG to launch fishing jacket

Sales of the new item will begin on 18 February 2023 at 6:30 PM on the ARAKA official online store

AnyMind Group, an end-to-end brand enablement platform, has once again teamed up with UUUM, a Japan-based multi-channel network and a leader in creator management and content marketing, for the launch of a fishing jacket – the Cold Spider AK Softshell Jacket – by direct-to-consumer (D2C) outdoor brand ARAKA, created by UUUM’s exclusive creator Tsuriyokadesyou in collaboration with Columbia PFG (Performance Fishing Gear), the fishing product line of Columbia Sportswear Japan. The new item will be available on the Columbia official online store and Columbia directly-managed stores, along with ARAKA’s official online store from 6:30 PM on 18 February 2023.

UUUM group company, P2C Studio, tapped on AnyMind Group tools including AnyX, AnyLogi and AnyChat for e-commerce management, logistics management and conversational commerce.

The Cold Spider AK Softshell Jacket is the first collaboration between ARAKA and Columbia and features flap pockets and shoulder mesh pockets, which were originally available in Columbia’s multi-pocket fishing vest created in the 1960s. The Cold Spider AK Softshell Jacket also incorporates various details that give the jacket a sense of Columbia’s brand DNA.

Designed for everyday use as well as for fishing, the jacket embodies the concept of both brands: “bring the outdoors closer to you.” The outer fabric is equipped with Columbia’s proprietary “Omni-Shield” technology, which repels water and stains whilst retaining a soft fabric feel that can be worn as daily wear. The stand collar also provides an easy-to-use piece that can also be used as a styling item for layering.
