Indonesian-based telecommunications company, Smartfren, ran an award-winning influencer marketing campaign with CastingAsia, the influencer marketing vertical of AnyMind Group.
Smartfren received an award from the ICMA (Indonesia Content Marketing Award 2018) for the best creative content in influencer marketing implementation, with the name #IndonesiaGueKeren.
The two-month campaign comes with the objective to elevate awareness for the “Smartfren Unlimited Promo” campaign, with 17.8 million 4G LTE subscribers on its books, up from 12.3 million at the start of the year, with strong gains coming on the back of its popular ‘unlimited’ data starter packs.
A total of 68 influencers joined this campaign, with each influencer showcasing the benefits of Smartfren’s unlimited data promotion through Instagram posts (photo and video). These led to 79.37% of Smartfren’s interactions coming from Instagram with the number of engagements standing at 1,645,309, from 4,315 posts.
The campaign carried a total potential audience of 44,350,842, total impression size of 8,618,465, a total reach of 6,456,468, and overall engagement at 455,643. Furthermore, the average engagement rate for this campaign is 7.06%.
