Beyond the Traineeship: From Influencer Management Trainee to Influencer Management Executive

Beyond the Traineeship: From Influencer Management Trainee to Influencer Management Executive

At AnyMind, growth is not just about moving up a title. It’s about learning by doing, taking ownership, and building confidence with every project.

Meet Nguyễn Thu Trâm, who joined AnyMind through the Traineeship Program 2026 as an Influencer Management Trainee and has since grown into an Influencer Management Executive.

Throughout her journey, Trâm worked across multiple influencer campaigns, collaborated with KOLs, clients and different teams, and gradually took on more ownership in campaign execution.

From feeling unfamiliar with new skills and processes at the beginning to becoming more confident in managing projects independently, Trâm’s journey shows what can happen when you stay curious, speak up, and keep learning through every challenge.

Real Work, Real Journey from Day 1

1. What made you choose AnyMind’s Traineeship Program?

I wanted to join a place where I could learn through real projects, develop practical skills, and have the opportunity to grow into a full-time role.

What attracted me to AnyMind was that the Traineeship offered more than a typical internship. I could get involved in real projects, learn from experienced team members, and have the opportunity to work closely with leaders and mentors. I also wanted to challenge myself in a fast-paced environment where I could learn quickly.

2. What did your day-to-day work look like as an Influencer Management Trainee?

Being a Trainee wasn’t just about supporting the team. I had the opportunity to work on 4 projects, including 2 new and 2 ongoing campaigns.

My day-to-day work included:

  • Working with KOLs and coordinating campaign activities
  • Developing campaign concepts
  • Managing project timelines
  • Communicating with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Using platforms such as AnyTag and AnyAI
  • Following campaigns from planning to execution

Since every campaign came with different brands, industries, and requirements, I was constantly learning and adapting.

New skills? A lot.

New challenges? Every project.

Ownership? More than I expected.

Real Challenges, Real Opportunities

3. What was the biggest challenge when you first started?

My biggest challenge was getting familiar with new hard skills and processes. There were many things I had never done before, so I had to learn quickly and ask questions whenever I was unsure. At the beginning, I didn’t always know the best way to approach a task. But instead of being afraid to ask, I actively reached out to my teammates for guidance. Step by step, I became more familiar with the work and was able to handle projects more independently from July onwards.

4. What kind of support helped you overcome those challenges?

One thing I really appreciated was that my team was always willing to listen, guide, and help when I got stuck. My manager also set clear KPIs at the beginning and explained what each one meant, so I understood what I needed to achieve and how I could progress.

At the same time, they didn’t simply do the work for me. They gave me space to try, make mistakes, and learn from them. That taught me that asking questions and speaking up are also important parts of learning.

Real Growth, From Trainee to Influencer Management Executive

5. How has your role and level of ownership changed over time?

When I first joined, I needed more guidance to understand the processes and how things were done. Now, I’m much more confident in managing projects, communicating with stakeholders, and solving problems independently.

I’ve also become more comfortable with unfamiliar industries and client requirements. Instead of immediately feeling overwhelmed when something is new, I’ve learned to understand the situation first and figure out what needs to be done.

6. What is the biggest change you’ve seen in yourself since joining AnyMind?

The biggest change has been my mindset. I used to put a lot of pressure on myself and expect to become good at something immediately. Through my experience at AnyMind, I learned that growth takes time and that it’s okay to improve step by step.

I’ve become less affected by small setbacks and more focused on what I can learn from them. That shift has made me more confident in taking on new challenges.

Real Impact

7. What project or achievement are you most proud of so far?

One project I remember most was a campaign for a milk brand, where I was the main person handling the project. I had the opportunity to work directly with KOLs, develop concepts, manage the timeline, and coordinate with the client. It was one of the first projects where I felt that I was truly taking ownership of a campaign.

For me, an achievement isn’t necessarily just a specific number or result. It’s also about overcoming something new and seeing how much I’ve learned through the process. When I work in an unfamiliar industry, understand the client’s business problem, and eventually see the campaign come together successfully, that’s when I feel that my effort has really paid off.

Building a Career at AnyMind

8. What made you want to continue your journey at AnyMind?

I feel that the work fits the career direction I want to pursue, and I still have a lot to learn and explore. Every project comes with different brands, industries, and challenges, so I never feel like I’ve completely mastered everything.

That’s what keeps the work interesting for me. After my traineeship, I continued my journey at AnyMind as an Influencer Management Executive, and I’m excited to keep developing from here.

9. What do you enjoy most about working at AnyMind?

I’d say the people and the openness. The environment is fast-paced, but people are willing to share knowledge and help each other when someone gets stuck. It’s also quite easy to communicate with different people and teams. The workload can be high, but it also pushes you to become more adaptable and develop different skills along the way.

10. If you could give one piece of advice to the next batch of trainees, what would it be?

Be yourself. Especially during the interview, be honest about who you are, what you’re interested in, and what you want to learn. You don’t need to present yourself as someone who already knows everything.

Be confident. You may not have all the answers from Day 1 — and that’s completely okay. Trust yourself and your ability to learn and improve.

And most importantly, speak up. If you’re stuck, have a concern, or don’t understand something, don’t be afraid to ask. From my experience, the team is always open to listening and finding a solution together. You don’t need to know everything from Day 1. Just be willing to learn, try, and keep going.

Through the AnyMind Traineeship Program 2027, we’re continuing to create opportunities for students and fresh graduates to learn by doing, take on real challenges, and grow with experienced teams.
