AnyMind Group agrees to acquire Japanese e-gifting company AnyReach

This will be the company’s 10th acquisition, with expected synergies and growth opportunities between e-commerce and e-gifting capabilities from both companies

AnyMind Group, a BPaaS company for marketing, e-commerce and digital transformation, has today announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire all shares of AnyReach Inc, a Japan-based e-gifting service provider. AnyReach will become a subsidiary of AnyMind Japan. The move enables AnyMind Group to immediately offer AnyReach’s various offerings to businesses in Japan and across APAC.

According to EMARKETER, Japan’s e-commerce market is expected to grow by 24%, from US$206 billion in 2024 to US$257 billion in 2027. As a result, demand in the e-gifting space is expected to grow, particularly in the fashion, cosmetics and food industries.

Founded in Japan in 2021, AnyReach is a business that primarily engages in the development and provision of an e-gifting platform, AnyGift. AnyGift is an easy-to-use software that enables online retailers and direct-to-consumer brands to implement e-gifting and social gifting functionality onto their e-commerce website with just a single line of code, and has been used by over 700 businesses since its launch three years ago for e-gifting ranging from digital vouchers to physical products.

The platform already has an integration with AnyMind Group’s AnyLogi for seamless management of products, payment confirmation, warehousing, inventory, shipping and cross-border delivery.

The company also provides complementary solutions on top of its AnyGift platform, similar to AnyMind Group’s BPaaS business model. This includes consultation and analysis for brands on their current e-commerce strategy and ways to maximize growth opportunities on e-commerce platforms.

On the agreement to acquire AnyReach, Kosuke Sogo, CEO and co-founder of AnyMind Group, said: “We have so far made nine acquisitions with the aim of strengthening our business foundation and organization in key business areas, and AnyReach marks our 10th acquisition. By acquiring AnyReach, we aim to further enhance the value we provide in the e-commerce support sector while also venturing into the online gifting space as a new avenue for growth. With AnyReach, we can offer innovative offerings to more businesses. We will also look to tap on our existing presence and track record across the region to accelerate the expansion of our new e-gifting offerings, delivering mutual synergies and driving further growth.”

Konosuke Nakajima, CEO of AnyReach, said: “With a mission of “creating a global online gift platform,” we founded AnyReach Inc. Our e-gift service, AnyGift, has established a solid presence in Japan with over 700 customers since its launch three years ago. As we expand further into international markets, we are committed to growing the e-gift business beyond digital, including offline experiences. We are excited to move forward with AnyMind Group, a global company operating in 15 countries, to achieve this vision. Together, we will create value in the global gift market and accelerate business expansion.”
