Deputy Head of Media and Self-Serve Platform

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee both our Media Planning and Ads Optimization teams, as well as spearhead the growth of our Self-Serve Platform business unit. This role requires a deep understanding of digital media, ad formats, and platform operations, coupled with strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.

  

What You'll Do

Media Planning and Ads Optimization

  • Strategy Development: Initiate and develop innovative full-funnel media strategies across various digital channels, considering different ad formats, targeting options, and campaign objectives.
  • Campaign Management: Manage large-scale digital campaigns, overseeing budget allocation, targeting strategies, and performance optimization.
  • Strategic Consultation: Provide strategic consultation to clients and teams, offering insights and recommendations on media planning strategies, ad formats, campaign optimization, and risk management.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire the Media Planning and Ads Optimization teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Team Development: Create a long-term team growth strategy, providing ongoing training and development opportunities to empower team members to reach their full potential.

Self-Serve Platform

  • Strategic Vision: Develop and execute a strategic vision for the Self-Serve Platform business unit, aligning with the company's overall goals.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of at least 10 staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with the tech team to develop and improve the Self-Serve Platform product, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the market.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Self-Serve Platform business unit, including customer service, sales, and platform performance.
  • Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities for the Self-Serve Platform business unit, expanding its reach and revenue.

  

Who You Are

  • Experience: Proven track record in media planning, digital marketing, and platform operations, with significant experience in creating media strategies, managing large campaigns, and optimizing ad performance for 10 years.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth understanding of various ad formats, targeting options, and campaign optimization techniques across digital channels, particularly TikTok.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with 5+ years of experience in managing teams (you will manage team members at least 20 members), including experience in a startup or entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions to drive business growth.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external clients, and customers.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve challenges.
  • Team Development: Ability to build and lead high-performing teams, providing mentorship and coaching to foster professional growth.
