The Senior Executive, AI Live Streaming Operations will ensure seamless, professional, and engaging live broadcasts using strong technical expertise in live streaming setup and management, keen monitoring skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities. This role is crucial for audience engagement and primarily utilizes OBS for technical operations.

What You'll Do

AI Live Production Operation (85%)

• Plan and execute comprehensive pre-stream preparations, including equipment setup, software configuration (primarily OBS with elements like stickers, packshots, overlays, and scenes), studio environment setup, and detailed attention to product placement and host positioning.
• Conduct thorough technical checks. Handle all live stream technical operations using OBS, managing scene transitions, graphic overlays, and multimedia playback, ensuring the stream runs smoothly according to schedule.
• Continuously monitor live stream quality (audio-visual, stability) and audience engagement, proactively troubleshooting any technical issues in real-time to ensure a smooth broadcast.
• Manage live chat moderation and audience interaction tools to foster engagement, which includes monitoring and responding to audience comments/questions and potentially highlighting viewer input for the host.
• Oversee the recording, archiving, and perform basic editing of live stream content.
• Conduct script writing, TTS generation, visual coordination, and be responsible for overall content quality checks.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks related to live streaming or team support as directed.

 

Live Streaming Strategy (15%)

• Collaborate with content creators, hosts, and marketing teams on planning, including pre-planned rundowns or scripts for the live stream.
• Analyze live stream performance data to generate reports, identify areas for improvement, and provide optimization recommendations.
• Stay updated with the latest streaming technologies, platforms, and industry best practices.
• Ensure adherence to the terms of service and community guidelines of the specific live streaming platform being used.

 

Who You Are

• Proven 2-3 years of experience in a live streaming role with in-depth knowledge of streaming hardware (cameras, audio, lighting, encoders), software (e.g., OBS, vMix), and various platforms (e.g., YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Twitch). 
• Strong understanding of video/audio encoding, streaming protocols (RTMP, HLS), network configurations, and excellent real-time troubleshooting skills for live events. 
• Demonstrable ability to monitor live stream analytics, interpret data, and implement strategies for performance optimization. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to confidently engage and support hosts, talent, and team members. 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as dictated by live event schedules
