Influencer Marketing Manager

We are looking for an experienced and highly driven Influencer Marketing Manager to lead our Influencer and Social Media Marketing function. This role is primarily focused on end-to-end influencer operations, campaign execution, and team leadership within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will play a critical role in driving influencer-led growth, ensuring operational excellence, and building scalable processes to support brand and marketing objectives.

What You'll Do

  1. Influencer Marketing Strategy & Execution
  • Lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of influencer marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (TikTok, Instagram, etc.)
  • Work closely with the Strategy team to translate campaign objectives into effective influencer execution plans and recommendations
  • Manage the full campaign lifecycle from briefing, influencer sourcing, negotiation, content coordination, execution, to post-campaign reporting
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and alignment with campaign requirements
  • Monitor campaign performance and execution quality to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and achieve agreed KPIs
  1. Team Leadership & Management
  • Oversee and lead both the Influencer Marketing team and Social Media Marketing team
  • Provide clear direction, workload prioritisation, and performance guidance to ensure high productivity and output quality
  • Coach and develop team members to strengthen influencer operations capability, negotiation skills, and campaign execution efficiency
  • Foster a fast-paced, accountable, and solution-oriented team culture
  1. Influencer & KOL Operations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with influencers, KOLs, and talent agencies
  • Manage influencer selection, vetting, contracting, pricing negotiation, and relationship management
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operational coordination between influencers, internal teams, and clients/brand stakeholders
  • Handle campaign escalations, performance issues, and influencer disputes when required
  1. Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Track, analyse, and report campaign performance using key metrics (engagement rate, reach, conversion where applicable)
  • Provide actionable insights and optimisation recommendations for future campaigns
  • Maintain data-driven approach to improve ROI and influencer selection strategy
  1. Process Improvement & Scalability
  • Continuously improve influencer operations workflow, tools, and SOPs to support scaling
  • Implement best practices commonly used in KOL/agency environments to improve efficiency and turnaround time

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Mass Communication or related fields.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Influencer Marketing / KOL Operations
  • Strong preference for candidates from KOL agencies, influencer agencies, or fast-paced digital marketing agencies
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end influencer campaigns and large-scale influencer operations
  • Prior experience in team leadership or managing a small-to-mid size marketing team is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of influencer ecosystem in Malaysia (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube creators, local KOL landscape)
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret campaign performance data
