We are seeking an experienced Senior Compensation & Benefits Executive to lead our end-to-end payroll operations and compliance (PPh 21, BPJS, and labor laws) in Indonesia. Beyond ensuring flawless salary accuracy, you will have the exciting opportunity to design, implement, and refine a progressive compensation and benefits framework that keeps us ahead of the Indonesian market.
What You'll Do
- Payroll Processing: Oversee and execute the end-to-end monthly payroll cycle accurately and on time for all local employees.
- Tax & Compliance: Manage the accurate calculation, reporting, and timely filing of monthly and annual individual income tax (PPh 21).
- Statutory Benefits: Administer and ensure accurate monthly reconciliation and contributions for BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and BPJS Kesehatan.
- Data Management: Maintain, update, and audit employee master data in the HRIS, including salaries, allowances, deductions, overtime, and leaves.
- Reporting & Audits: Prepare comprehensive monthly payroll journals, variance reports, and annual summaries for the Finance and Management teams; support internal and external payroll audits.
- Trusted Consultant: Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, clearly explaining calculations regarding salary, THR, benefits, and personal income tax deductions.
- Benefits Review: Evaluate and optimize current employee benefit programs (e.g., private health insurance, wellness perks) to increase employee satisfaction.
- Report directly to the Head of People, Indonesia
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of dedicated payroll or compensation benefits experience within E-commerce, Online/Offline retails, and FMCG industries.
- Deep understanding of Indonesian Labor Law (UU Ketenagakerjaan), Job Creation Law (UU Cipta Kerja), and local tax schemes.
- Highly proficient in localized HRIS platforms and advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, complex formulas).
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and an unwavering commitment to data confidentiality and integrity.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia (both written and verbal) to effectively communicate with local teams and regional stakeholders.
