Social Media Strategist

Social Media Marketing, Kuala Lumpur

We are seeking a results-oriented professional to manage and grow our clients' social media presence while handling a portfolio of key accounts. In this role, you will monitor analytics, develop and execute content strategies, plan and schedule posts, and ensure high levels of user engagement across various platforms.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor analytics and metrics to gauge success of social media posts and ad campaigns. 
  • Research social media trends and hashtags that relate to a target audience’s interests
  • Manage a social media content calendar for various channels, planning and scheduling posts in advance
  • Maintain a cohesive social media strategy across various channels to achieve high levels of user engagement
  • Individually prospect, pitch, and close sales
  • Initiate the solution to the client by introducing the Company’s product based on client needs
  • Manage a portfolio of clients assigned to you and assist in increasing the overall market share.
  • Able to develop content and be talent when necessary 
  • Develop a strong understanding of the client’s business by liaising with the internal strategic planning & creative teams.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree in marketing or a related field
  • Experience in social media marketing in Social Agencies or AdTech companies for a minimum of 1-3 years.
  • Hands-on experience using social media to build brand awareness
  • Excellent command of English. Added value if you can command in Mandarin and Bahasa as well. 
  • Has a strong network with brands and agencies. 
  • Experience in creative pitching is a plus. Prefer talent used to do the pitching with a strong pipeline and client base. 
  • Target and result-oriented mind with a passion for working independently.
  • Detail-oriented, well organised, with a good sense of responsibility.
