KR Manager, Business Development – China Outbound

This is a strategic, high-impact role focused on Closing & Solution Design rather than cold hunting. You will be the bridge between our high-value clients and our regional execution teams. Your success is measured by your ability to craft winning proposals, navigate complex client needs, and lead cross-border collaborations between South Korea, and Japan.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Closing: Take over qualified leads and transform them into signed contracts through superior strategic pitching. You will own the "Last Mile" of the sales process.
  • Solution & Proposal Design: Craft high-quality, creative influencer marketing proposals. This includes defining the campaign logic, creative angles, and KPI frameworks that resonate with the gaming industry.
  • Cross-Border Orchestration (KR & JP): 
    • KR to Japan: Work closely with the local Japan (JP) team to translate client objectives into localized Japanese execution plans. You manage the strategy; they handle the execution.
    • Japan to Korea: For Japanese clients expanding into South Korea, you will lead the KR strategy and operations, ensuring the proposal meets the highest standards of the Korean market.
  • Expert Consulting: Act as a subject matter expert in Influencer Marketing, advising clients on industry trends, content strategies, and cultural nuances in both the KR and JP markets.
  • Stakeholder Management: Seamlessly coordinate between internal teams to ensure the solution promised to the client is feasible and profitable.

Who You Are

  • Experience: 5+ years in Digital Media, AdTech, or Agency sales, with a heavy emphasis on Branding and Strategic Planning.
  • Core Competency: Exceptional proposal-writing and presentation skills. You must be able to visualize data and creativity into a compelling narrative.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Influencer Marketing ecosystem (YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, etc.) and the gaming sector.
  • Bilingual Mastery: * Native or Professional Korean (for KR market strategy).
    • Professional Chinese or Japanese (for internal reporting and China client communication).
    • Bonus: Proficiency in Japanese is a significant advantage for collaborating with the JP local team.
  • Communication Style: A "Smart Communicator" who can balance client expectations with internal operational realities.
  • Agile Mindset: Ability to pivot strategies quickly based on market feedback or client pivots.
