Assistant Manager, E-commerce KAM

 

We are seeking a strategic and highly motivated E-commerce KAM to oversee our e-commerce account, and manage a portfolio of top-tier brands. In this pivotal role, you will drive the overarching e-commerce strategy, manage P&L for assigned accounts, and ensure operational excellence across major platforms including Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok. You will act as the strategic bridge between our clients, internal teams, and e-commerce platforms to accelerate GMV growth and expand market share.

What You'll Do

  • Own the overarching e-commerce strategy and P&L for a portfolio of brands, driving the team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual GMV and revenue targets.
  • Act as the senior escalation point and strategic advisor for key clients, leading Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to ensure long-term alignment between brand goals and agency delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with platform representatives (Lazada, Shopee, TikTok KAMs) to negotiate Joint Business Plans (JBPs), secure exclusive campaign placements, and unlock platform beta features.
  • Review and approve overarching marketing and promotional strategies for mega campaigns (e.g., 3.3, 11.11), product launches, and live streaming initiatives, ensuring optimal budget allocation.
  • Streamline workflows and resolve operational bottlenecks between the KAM team and internal departments (Supply Chain, Marketing, Creative Design, Finance etc) to ensure flawless end-to-end execution.
  • Consolidate and analyze data across the portfolio to identify market trends, consumer behavior, and campaign ROI, providing C-level insights and strategic pivots to clients and internal management.
  • Manage team workload, resource allocation, and lead crisis management and operational troubleshooting during high-traffic mega campaign periods.

Who You Are

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Have 5-8 years of experience in E-commerce, Key Account Management, or an Agency environment.
  • Demonstrate an expert-level understanding of Southeast Asian e-commerce ecosystems (Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop), including seller centers, in-app advertising algorithms, and platform-specific marketing tools.
  • Exhibit strong financial acumen with proven experience managing P&L, marketing budgets, and ROI optimization.
  • Possess exceptional English communication and presentation skills, with a track record of successfully managing senior client stakeholders and negotiating complex agreements.
  • A strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analytics tools.
  • Highly resilient and adaptable, capable of leading a team through high-pressure situations, including extended hours during critical e-commerce mega campaigns.
